SupaflyFPV Customer Tuning
- Here we give access to Supafly customers higher performance tuning which the Supafly frames can handle
- Tuning should feel smoother and more locked in because of curated filtering and higher pid gains
- Feedback always welcome and check below for option to send us a log to check your setup

Instructions for tuning setup:
-
- This calc is specific for 5″ freestyle – please use the other customer pages for 3/4″ and 6/7″.
- Save your quad setup then flash the latest development version of Betaflight.
- Apply the Community tune in the configurator – SupaflyFPV 5 Inch Freestyle – then add the extra stuff from this page
- With the Supafly Preset set up – enter your Lipo/Kv/Output Limit above and get your specific Master Multiplier value above for the tuning. Note you have to set ‘experimental mode’ in the configurator (small slider switch top right) to have access to the Master Multiplier.
- Once you have added the Master Multiplier value, please reduce the I gains with the ‘Drift Wobble’ slider to set Pitch I at around 110 and Roll/Yaw I to around 90.
- Now go to the ‘Stick Response’ slider and change the Feedforward values to achieve around 150 on Pitch and 125 on Roll/Yaw.
- Higher values on I gains and Feedforward aren’t necessary on high performance 5″ quads, and it negatively impacts the feel.
- Finally – input the string of CLI text at the bottom of the page into the configurator CLI tab – which sets up the special sauce filters.

Customer tune check
Customers can have their tuning/setup checked by taking a blackbox log of a typical freestyle flight – do some hard stop rolls and pitch flips – and a full throttle punch out. 1min flight is long enough. Send it to me at steve@supaflyfpv.com.
